Amanda was a stunning bride and this was one seriously stunning wedding. From the moment I walked in to Amanda’s parents’ house and saw the bride’s jewelry lovingly laid out on her grandmother’s vanity tray, I squealed a little. And then I turned around, saw the beautiful master bathroom where we would clearly have to do a few portraits, and I squealed a little more. It was obvious that this wedding was going to be FUN for me to photograph, and that turned out to be 100% accurate. Not only was this a gorgeous wedding, it was an emotional one, and I truly feel so honored that I get to witness such amazing moments. I got to see the bridesmaids’ excitement at Amanda putting on her gown, Amanda’s tears when reading Dan’s love letter moments before getting married, Dan staring at his bride as she walked down the aisle, and the laughter of all the wedding guests as they enjoyed a surprise slideshow of Dan and Amanda’s greatest hits during the reception. This was an amazing wedding to witness and photograph. I love my job. Congratulations, A + D! I hope that you are enjoying your Hawaiian honeymoon!

The ladies spent a good chunk of the morning chilling in the tub so they “recreated” it when I arrived. :)
