Anlyn and David’s cozy, intimate, and relaxed wedding is my favorite kind of wedding to attend and to photograph. I love it when a couple whittles it down to the basics and throws an unpretentious party to celebrate their union with their favorite people and families. Anlyn and David did just that and the result was a gorgeous, emotional, and fun wedding. The ceremony took place at Old Presbyterian Meeting House, a church that is adored by Anlyn’s family, and when I visited the church the week of the wedding it was easy to understand why. The current structure was built in 1835 after the original 1775 building burnt down, and walking in to the church feels like walking in to history with the sanctuary’s closed door pews and gorgeous nineteenth century pipe organ. After the ceremony, guests moved on to the cozy and chic Lorien Hotel and Spa for the reception, where they danced the night away and enjoyed cocktails outside by the fire pit. It was such a gorgeous wedding for a very easy-going, wonderful, happy couple. Congratulations, Anlyn & David!
