I really don’t know how to put in to words how fabulous this couple is. Dani and Adam are really just two of the nicest people, and I loved them immediately when we met back in November. I’m sad their wedding is over because working with them has been so fabulous! During their portrait session on Saturday they said they would do anything I asked of them including jump in the pond! Of course I didn’t ask them to do that, but I traipsed them around the grounds of Stone Manor, up and down gravel pathways and in to some tall grass (with bugs unknown) and they were totally in to it and willing to kiss it up for me for long periods of time. I love them! :)
Most of the wedding events took place at the lovely Stone Manor Country Club in Middletown, Maryland. This was my first time shooting at this venue and I loved it – beautiful greenery, an old barn, a pond, a vineyard. What more could a photographer ask for? Kristi and I photographed Dani and Adam getting ready there before heading off to the ceremony at St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, where a long-time family friend presided over the service. Then it was back to Stone Manor, where Beyond Imaginations created a beautiful, elegant environment with unique purple and green arrangements.
I have to give a few shout-outs to Trisha Cranor of Working Brides, the best wedding planner out there! Also, Tara Karimi of Makeovers on Call is a true artist and always a joy to work with. And last but not least, a big thank you to Kristi Odom for helping me out on Saturday. It was so great to work you!
Dani and Adam, have a great time on your honeymoon! I can’t wait to hear all about it when you get back :)
