If I have any loyal blog followers out there, I must first start with a huge apology to you all. The past few weeks have been a flurry of activity as my husband and I bought a new house and moved out to the ‘burbs (Hello, Falls Church!). I took a few weeks off from work so I could address my hankering to unpack, organize, furniture shop, and decorate, and with all of that officially out of the way, I was so thrilled to show up on the morning of Jennifer and Dave’s wedding! These two planned a classic, gorgeous DC wedding with stops at a collection of quintessential, historic DC spots, including a morning ceremony at Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle, wedding party portraits at The Jefferson Memorial, an afternoon break at The Willard, and a quick walk to their nearby reception at Old Ebbitt Grill. Their wedding day was a lovely tour through DC and Jennifer and Dave had the biggest smiles on their faces throughout. Congratulations, Jennifer & Dave!!

St. Matthews is truly a remarkable cathedral. It's just gorgeous.

Forunately, the rain held off long enough for us to get a few portraits at The Jefferson. :)

And the rain stopped later in the day just as it was time to do portraits at Pershing Park near The Willard. :)

After a quick walk from The Willard to Old Ebbitt, it was time to celebrate. Cocktails were on the fabulous rooftop deck at OEG.
