Lindsay and Jeff are my kind of people :) They are both hysterical, laid-back, they surround themselves with wonderful friends, and they appreciate cool photography! I love that Lindsay really wanted some unique portraits and fun locations in her wedding day coverage, and it was so much fun to take pictures at The Willard, Georgetown, the WWII Memorial, and the National Gallery of Art. I loved doing their engagement session a few weeks ago, and I LOVED their wedding last Saturday!
I began the day with Lindsay at the ladies at the fabulous Willard Intercontinental Hotel. This hotel is an historic DC landmark, and Lindsay’s room had a view of the Washington Monument! We then headed to the WWII Memorial for portraits of the ladies before finalizing preparations at the church, the lovely colonial-style Georgetown Presbyterian. The reception site, The City Club of Washington at Franklin Square, was elegant and gorgeous. Honor and Mike, the Maid of Honor and Best Man, gave funny and emotional toasts, and Lindsay thanked her fabulous girlfriends and dedicated a song to them during the reception. This was such a wonderful group of people to photograph!
