I can’t tell you how fun this engagement session was for me. First of all, Lyndsey and Eddie are very thoughtful, down-to-earth, and sincere people. I was impressed that they offered me their parking spot at their apartment building and that they had lovely snacks (of brie, grapes, and almonds :) waiting for the makeup artist and myself. Lyndsey’s adorable Mom even ran out to get us water bottles before we headed out on the photo shoot! I also love that Lyndsey and Eddie are DC enthusiasts – like myself but times 10. Not only are they thrilled to live in Dupont Circle, but Eddie also runs his own DC walking tours company, DC by Foot! I am completely impressed by this sweet and accomplished couple, and I cannot wait to photograph their wedding at Meridian House, one of the prettiest venues in DC, in August!
Just to give you a little background on their photo shoot: we began the pictures at their condo building in Dupont Circle because that is where Lyndsey and Eddie met. On the day Lyndsey moved in to The Hampton, she was so happy and outgoing that she introduced herself to the new neighbor she ran in to outside: Eddie, of course. The rest is history, but naturally we had to take some pictures where it all began: outside the Hampton and at the small cafe table outdoors where they still enjoy drinks and relaxing now that they’re a couple. After pictures at their condo, we strolled through Dupont and visited the fountain, and then went to the National Mall for a few pictures near the Lincoln Memorial. It was a fabulous afternoon!
