Mary & Nick at The Westin Alexandria

Mary and Nick are two of the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of working with.  They are such considerate and genuine people, as are the friends and families, so their wedding was an absolute delight to photograph from start to finish.  Throughout the wedding day, Artemas and I kept turning to one another and exclaiming “This is such a wonderful wedding!”  There were no stress and there was no drama, which was refreshing because nearly every wedding includes one or the other.  :)  This wedding day was about the two wonderful people getting married in a sweet Filipino-Catholic ceremony in front of their friends and family and then the fabulous celebration that followed.   I loved this wedding from start to finish and just wish more of my couples were as adorable, calm, sweet, and good-natured as these two.  Congratulations, Mary & Nick!

I had so much time to photograph the ladies getting ready at The Westin, which was wonderful!

Mary is so pretty!

The flowergirl, Mallory, was adorable and inquisitive. :)

Artemas photographed the guys getting ready…

… and these next few photos of the wonderful anticipation before the ceremony.

Mary & Nick incorporated Filipino wedding traditions in to their ceremony, including the Veil and the Cord placed upon them by their Sponsors.

Loved the groomsmens’ socks. :)

Thank you, autumn, for providing the colorful backdrops!

A great moment captured by Artemas:

Clearly, there was some awesome dancing at this wedding. :)

Congratulations, Mary & Nick!
