Parker and Kosta’s wedding was such an elegant, intimate affair. The rain forced all of the events indoors, but it only made the wedding that much more cozy and romantic. There were lots of personal touches I adored that made this wedding so unique to the couple. First of all, Parker wore her Mom’s refurbished wedding dress. It was beautiful! Parker’s brother performed the marriage, and Kosta’s Mom read aloud a letter from his Grandmother, who couldn’t make it all the way from Serbia. In an ode to Kosta’s culture, there was Serbian brandy and Serbian dancing, led by Kosta’s Mom. Parker’s bridesmaid, Jaime Wascalus, made the fabulous cake and also designed their wedding website. And finally, the band, The Ladybug Transistor, who is friends of the couple, began the wild dancing that continued on later in the night with a DJ friend playing Serbian tunes. I thought all of these personal touches were wonderful!
I had a great time working with the fabulous Vicky Choy of Event Accomplished. She was awesome, and I hope to work with her again very soon! I also have to give a shout out to Petal’s Edge, who is always reliable for beautiful, unique flowers, and Bella Umbrella, where Parker found a fabulous, vintage parasol for the rained-out wedding. Yay. Love it!
Congratulations, Parker and Kosta!
