I still cannot BELIEVE that I had the opportunity to photograph a wedding inside the National Cathedral!! Growing up in the DC area, it is one of the most beloved sites in the city. It is historic and beautiful so, naturally, I went there on numerous school field trips growing up. It is also a highlight of the DC skyline as the third tallest building in the city! It was absolutely perfect that Nicole + Greg were married within the Cathedral. It is a meaningful spot for them as Nicole went to school there, her mother worked at the Cathedral, and Greg always admired the beauty of the building on his daily commute through the city. Needless to say, it was a beautiful service as was the celebration that followed, held under a sparkling, clear tent in the backyard of Nicole’s childhood home. Seriously, what an amazing and stunning wedding day, and I feel so grateful that I was a witness to it. Congratulations to Nicole + Greg!
