Katie + Charlie were finally able to celebrate their nuptials in the way that they deserved. After it became apparent that they would have to reschedule their 2020 wedding for a second time due to Covid, Katie + Charlie elected to have a small beach ceremony with their family members instead. It took place on Bald Head Island in June of last year, and it was intimate and special. However, the newlyweds’ friends and extended family members could not be there, and obviously they did not get to have the big celebration that they originally envisioned. Cue up the Carolina Inn, the coordinating dream team at Kast Events & Company, and the fantastic live band, The Finns, and K+C finally had the party of their dreams! Earlier this month, the newlyweds were finally able to sip champagne while mingling with their loved ones, have a slow and romantic First Dance, and party until the wee hours of the night with their friends. And I was so honored to be there for both celebrations, which were nearly one year apart. My love to the delightful newlyweds, who clearly know how to throw a good party!
