Laura, Steve, and I had a great afternoon wandering the streets of their charming hometown, Frederick, Maryland. They adore the vibrant old town area, and I can see why. We started the photo shoot on Market Street at Laura’s apartment and near one of their favorite restaurants, Volt, and then we strolled through the neighboring streets. Eventually we met up with Zena, Steve’s adorable german shepherd, in Baker Park. We ended the afternoon, just before sunset, at a fabulous covered bridge along the park’s creek. I was in heaven! Three hours with a great couple (they remind me of Blake and myself, actually :) in a charming town and with warm spring weather. What more could I ask for? I’m super excited for Laura & Steve’s November wedding. Their ceremony will take place in the same Frederick church where both sets of their parents, Steve’s brother, and Laura’s sister were all married, and they’re celebrating the event at Strong Mansion, one of my absolute favorite venues in the area. It is going to be an emotional, gorgeous wedding!
