Megan and Joey are two very genuine, real, and unpretentious people, and their wedding day beautifully reflected that. Their nuptials were intimate and meaningful, with a family member singing a gorgeous rendition of “Ave Maria” and two close friends presiding over the ceremony. Seventy of Megan and Joey’s closest friends and family witnessed their sweet vows from the scenic patio at Army Navy Country Club and then danced the night away with them in the glowing ballroom. The thing I loved the most about Megan and Joey’s wedding was that they ended the evening with a private dance, just the two of them, while all of the guests and vendors gathered outdoors for the sparkler send-off. After enjoying an upbeat last dance with their guests, Megan and Joey asked to have the ballroom to themselves so that they could enjoy a final dance alone to “You and Me”. I love that. I love the intimacy of it and the fact that it focuses on the meaning of the day: the love that Megan + Joey share and the commitment they made to one another. So beautiful. Congratulations, Megan + Joey. Thank you for letting us be a part of your amazing day.
