This wedding has been a long time coming because Sarah and Zach have been together for over thirteen years! And according to the lovely words he wrote for her in the ceremony, Zach knew Sarah was the love of his life after their first conversation. These two have an easiness, a comfort – just a pleasure in being together – that makes it a joy to be around them. While I was aware of this during their engagement shoot, I was really aware of it on their wedding day. Just the way Zach looks at Sarah is super, super sweet – like when he was concerned during the ceremony that Sarah might faint, and how he couldn’t stop smiling at her when they walked down the aisle as a newly married couple!
And I have to give Sarah tons of credit. Not only was she a laidback bride (who helped her bridesmaids do their hair and makeup just before her own ceremony!), but she had a fabulous vision for this wedding. When Sarah chose Frying Pan Farm Park for their rustic ceremony she was thinking of the wonderful portrait locations just outside (yay!), and the colors and lighting of the reception were just perfect! It was a joy to be a part of this wedding – to hear about it during the planning and to see it come to fruitition – but also to be exposed to this adorable, thoughtful, super-in-love couple and their wonderful family and friends. Congratulations, Sarah & Zach (and Happy Birthday tomorrow to Sarah!)!
