When Katie and Tom were looking for wedding venues that were both convenient to them and their families, they came across the lovely, secluded Mount Harmon Plantation at World’s End. In Earleville, MD, at the end of a 2 mile gravel road, this historic plantation is absolutely beautiful! It has boxwood gardens, wheat fields, and a view of the water in multiple directions. Tom and Katie’s ceremony and details had lovely personal touches, such as the handmade ring pillow and boutonnieres with xbox 360 controllers in them (so cool!). Tom and Katie also involved their Uncle in the ceremony, who officiated the event, and their beloved chocolate lab, Carley, was the (fast-moving!) flowergirl.
The reception took place at nearby Chesapeake Inn. This venue was lovely because it was also on the water and it had lovely twinkly lights in the ceiling above the dance floor (loved that!). As Tom and Katie said during their reception toast, it really was a perfect, perfect day. I was so glad I got to be a part of it. Thank you, Katie & Tom, and congratulations!!

Katie & Tom saw eachother before the ceremony (yay!) so that they could get some portraits with Carley.

Carley was a perfect (albeit super fast) flowergirl!

The newlyweds did a fabulous victory lap/recessional in the gardens while guests blew bubbles.

We quickly hopped out of the car for a few portraits along the two mile road exiting the plantation. What a beautiful area!

I vote that all reception venues install twinkly ceiling lights! Please and thank you. :)
