R&R Catering’s Tasting at the Masonic Temple

Last night I was privileged enough to participate in R&R Catering‘s first Tasting of 2011! The event took place in the gorgeous Grand Hall of Alexandria’s George Washington Masonic Memorial and it included three hours of cocktails, music, mingling, and amazing food! The staff at R&R always creates a gorgeous, tasty event and this time was no exception. The candlelit room was decked out in sexy purple and red with amazing centerpieces by Da Vinci’s Florist and professional lighting by Frost. I had a table near the hors d’oeuvres station (along with the other wonderful vendors, who I’ll mention below) and it took lots of willpower not to devour all of creatively-presented finger foods, such as the Mini Plum Sesame Crusted Chicken Lollipops and the Triple Cream Brie Stuff Driscoll Strawberries! As always, it was great to photograph such creative, beautiful details; to chat with giddy, engaged couples; and to catch up with the wonderful vendors in my industry! I love these R&R Tastings and recommend that you check out the next one if you’re looking for a great night of delicious food, gorgeous surroundings, cocktails, and music!
