This was my kind of wedding. Sara and Brian are a special couple. They are both extremely relaxed, sincere and down-to-earth people, and their wedding was just like them. Sara + Brian were married overlooking a pond at the picturesque Riverside on the Potomac. They had both a priest and a Rabbi to fulfill the customs of their two different religions. Their pup, Sophie, walked down the aisle and watched them intently for almost the entire ceremony. Their dads lit candles and read aloud during the ceremony. And Brian danced with all of the couple’s mom surrogates: women who gave Sara and Brian encouragement, guidance and love after they both lost their mothers. It was a day full of love, humor, and lots and lots of dancing. Congratulations, Sara + Brian. Your wedding was as lovely and relaxed as the two of you are, and I wish you a lifetime of happiness together!
